That excitement has translated into sales for Storm gear to wear to the game, picking up as we get closer to tipoff between the Storm and the Fever. “The local bar I go to, the Blarney Stone, we had that game on, and we didn’t have the other men’s games on, so it was really fun, and it was packed, the bar was packed for that game,” Healy said.
That excitement is reflected in ticket sales, too. According to StubHub, WNBA ticket sales are nearly double last season.
