A creative cafe owner has spent £2,000 on shower curtains and air purifiers in a bid to protect his customers fromFrancini Osorio, 48, who runs Francini Cafe De Colombia, in Worcester, has draped the 35 shower curtains around each of the 16 tables in preparation for when he can reopen. The curtains are all clear, so customers will still be able to see each other.
He said: ‘We miss our customers, so we have not stopped working to create a safe environment while complying with social distancing measures.Visit our live blog for the latest updates:‘They are truly the heart of our coffee shop and we want to ensure they feel safe and loved, so we made a few changes.’
He continued: ‘I bought shower curtains from wherever we could find them. I was looking for something transparent so people can still see each other. He added: ‘I’m sure [the cafe] will come back stronger to keep filling people’s life with colour, salsa music, a great atmosphere and the best cup of coffee you can find in the Midlands. Everybody has to reinvent themselves and what I’m trying to do is to survive really.’
