CAF Women's POTY Picks Soweto Giant

The reigning CAF Women's Player of the Year seems to have pledged her South African football allegiance to one of the Soweto giants. Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala was spotted rocking a jersey from one of the the DStv Premiership's big three, Orlando Pirates.

Oshoala, who is currently the best African women's footballer, was styling in a Pirates jersey and simultaneously showing love to the only Nigerian baller at the club. The Happy People will be pleased to see that the current CAF Women's Best Player was wearing Orlando Pirates' latest Home kit. Oshoala has won the major CAF women's individual accolade on six occasions and is currently plying her trade in the United States with Bay FC in the NWSL, after a five-year stint at Barcelona Femeni.

The 29-year-old forward was wearing central defender Olisa Ndah's number 49 jersey — showing love to one of the most consistent players in Jose Riveiro's squad. Oshoala took to Twitter/X to share a video and snaps of her in the eye-catching Bucs top, which she styled with white shorts, red socks and white Air Max 99's.
