Cadillac is already testing a Celestiq prototype for the road.
. The nose, silhouette, and rear end all match up, suggesting the production Celestiq will probably look a lot like the original concept. We're into it.
According to Cadillac, engineers tested the basic safety and functionality aspects of the prototype on its first drive. They also took the time to snag some pictures, allowing us an up-close look at the trippy camouflage, which is made up of Cadillac crests. “It’s a huge moment for everyone at Cadillac to see Celestiq roll off the line at our pre-production facility and drive out onto public roads for the first time,” Celestiq program manager Jeremy Loveday said in a statement. “There is so much more to come, and we are looking forward to continuing the development of Cadillac’s newest flagship.”
Despite already seeing a prototype on the road, we don't expect the production Celestiq to hit owner's hands until 2024. It's expected to use GM's next generation of Ultium battery tech, and deliver at least 300 miles of range. It's also expected to beAdvertisement - Continue Reading Below
