Cable operator Altice USA Inc. is hoping to nestle itself in consumers’ living rooms with the launch of a new at-home speaker, Altice Amplify, that includes technology from Amazon.com Inc.’s Alexa.
The speaker, which the New York company said on Wednesday will be introduced later this year, will allow users of Altice’s cable bundle to change channels and access other streaming services without having to use a remote.
