The futuristic racket sports VR game C-Smash VRS is officially offering up a non-VR mode for fans to check out later this year.
RapidEyeMovers and Wolf & Wood announced on Thursday that an update to the game would arrive in the summer, introducing Cosmic Smash VRS – New Dimension. The new update will allow players to dive into the game without a PS VR2 headset, and play in a 3rd person mode.
Players can preorder the game now on the PlayStation Store, and those who have a PS VR2 can still play the game now in its original format. A more concrete release date for the update is likely to come as we get closer to the summer.C-Smash VRS is based on the 2001 title that originally came to Sega NAOMI arcade systems before being ported to the Dreamcast. And while the arcade version did at least come to Europe, the Dreamcast port never made its way out of Japan.
