Former Steelers quarterback and Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich is set to interview with the New England Patriots for their head coaching position.

The New England Patriots have a highly sought-after head coach ing vacancy, and a former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Byron Leftwich , is a strong contender. According to The Athletic's Mike Jones, Leftwich is scheduled to interview with the Patriots today. Leftwich gained recognition as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ' offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022, playing a pivotal role in their Super Bowl LV victory.

He collaborated with head coach Bruce Arians, whom he also played for with the Steelers.
