The BYD Seal 06 GT is the production version of the brand's Ocean M Concept. It shares its platform with the Seal sedan, offering RWD and AWD options. Prices in China are expected to range from $21,000 to $28,000. Chinese automaker BYD has unveiled photos of its new fully electric hatchback, the Seal 06 GT. This model is the production version of the BYD Ocean M Concept, which made its debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April 2024.

The Seal 06 GT is positioned to bridge the gap between the smaller Dolphin and the slightly larger Seal sedan. At 4,630 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm , this new BYD has a larger footprint than the VW ID.
