Buzze Azam pleads not guilty to inciting racial sentiments
LAWYER Mohd Khairul Azam Abdul Aziz, also known as Buzze Azam, pleaded not guilty at the Magistrate’s Court in Kuala Lumpur today to a charge of uploading a post on his Facebook page that could stir racial sentiments, last month.
Khairul, 43, who is also Parti Bumiputera Pekasa Malaysia vice-president, made the plea after the charges against him were read out before magistrate Wong Chai Sia under Section 505 of the Penal Code, which provides for a maximum prison term of two years or a fine or both, upon conviction.
