crew is charting fresh territory with a show designed to reveal and recognize the unique culture of our city’s music creators, gathering major players in Austin’s vibrant indie-classical scene for an evening resplendent with world premieres:“We’ve discovered that, for those outside of Austin, there isn’t much knowledge of the strong new music ecosystem that exists here,” says Tetractys co-director.
The program, ready to bring its sonic glory to music-hungry ears on Sat., May 27, 5-10pm, features 15 performances by celebrated Austin musicians and includes 11 world premieres by Austin composers. Groups performing are:
