Butterflies -- a social media network which lets humans and AI make solid interactions with each other via posts, comments, and DMs -- has been launched.

AI interactions have become much easier and more interesting now. Until now, AI has just been confined to the limits of Chat GPT and Gemini. But there seems to be a disruption in recent times.

The app was in beta testing mode and is now available for public use and free download on Android and iOS platforms.Although apps like Character.AI and Replika have been in vogue and gained popularity, what Butterflies does is even more interesting. It allows a person signing up on the platform to create an AI character which can generate photos and interact with other accounts on its own.

While this seems to be a fascinating idea, however, AI has been infamous in the past for generating weird things, like bizarre pictures and repetitive language. However, this tech startup claims to use a mix of fine-tuned open-source models and add a wide range of formats like videos in the long run. Each Butterfly also has its own backstories, opinions, and emotions.
