Burrow's 3 touchdown passes, defense's 6 takeaways propel Bengals to win at Titans

Bengals quarterback shook off two first half turnovers before getting hot for rest of the half, and then the defense took charge.

CINCINNATI - The Bengals shook off a slow, mistake-filled start thanks to another outstanding performance from quarterback Joe Burrow and a rare outstanding performance from the defense.

Three plays after Burrow threw his second interception of the game at the Tennessee 3, Levis tried to hit tight Chig Okonkwo over the middle at the Titans 40, but safety Geno Stone stepped in front and raced 40 yards for a touchdown with 7:24 remaining in the third quarter. The Bengals then finished off the win with a 14-play, 67-yard drive that was capped by a four-yard touchdown run by Chase Brown with 1:09 left. The extra-point attempt failed.

The Bengals answered right back as they moved 70 yards in nine plays and tied the score at 7-7 when Burrow extended a play and calmly flipped a six-yard touchdown pass to Brown with 6:36 to play in the first half.
