The restaurant team behind Burma Superstar and Burma Love expects to open a new concept in Hayes Valley.

“Teakwood represents the best of Burmese food at its core, simply approached in a new way,” Bryanna Yip, Burma Food Group brand manager, said in a statement. “We wanted to provide diners with a culinary experience rooted in tradition, but this time adding an innovative twist showcasing the vibrance of Burmese flavors and its surrounding cultural influences.”

Burma Food Group, which operates Burma Superstar and Burma Love, is slated to open its newest concept, Teakwood, at 399 Grove St. in San Francisco.
