Only two days after dozens of homeless people were evicted from a location in downtown Burien, KOMO News learned a new homeless camp has popped up at a park only blocks away.

Notes are posted throughout the campsite, warning occupants that they will be evicted on Tuesday if they do not move.KOMO News learned that presence of the tents has caused families to avoid visiting Dottie Harper Park. Until June 1, the encampment sat on city-owned land in the downtown corridor. In April, Burien officials announced they were accepting proposals to lease the 24,500-square-foot, city-owned property for commercial development. On Thursday morning, the property's lease holder forcibly evicted everyone living at the camp.
