A 51-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were later arrested on suspicion of burglary
Two people have been arrested after a thieves used a wheelbarrow to steal a tumble dryer from a house in Leyland.
Lancashire Constabulary were called Balcarres Road at around 4pm on Tuesday . It followed reports that a man and a woman had been seen climbing through the open windows of a conservatory. The pair were seen minutes later exiting the property with a tumble dryer before wheeling it away in a wheelbarrow. following tip offs from the public and have since been released under investigation.A South Ribble Police spokesperson said: "We have arrested two people after a tumble dryer was taken from a house in Leyland and wheeled away in a wheelbarrow.
"Minutes later, they came out of the property with a tumble dryer. Intelligence from members of the public lead our officers to arrest a 51 year old man and a 49 year old woman on suspicion of burglary.
