Masked burglars are wanted for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of items
A group of five masked burglars stole a stash of jewelry, Gucci products and other loot worth more than $64,000 from the back of UPS and FedEx trucks in a stealthy three-borough spree, cops and sources said.
They snatched up eight Gucci boxes holding about $29,730 in designer loot from the truck during the 12:20 p.m. burglary, police said. The next stick-up came on June 7, when a single thief managed to snag multiple clear plastic bags holding 122 packages worth about $12,000 from a UPS truck on Madison Avenue near East 55th Street, authorities and sources said.
