Bunnie Xo, 46, has explained her decision to remove a recent podcast episode in which she spoke candidly about her divorce from musician Jelly Roll.
The episode, which had become one of her most-watched and earned approximately $100,000 in revenue, was taken down because she did not want such a raw, painful moment to remain a permanent public record. She emphasized that while she believes in offering people space to heal and evolve, she does not wish for the divorce to define her identity or become her entire personality.
She added that she has no regrets about initially sharing the content, as it served a purpose at that emotional time, but she is no longer in that same mental space. Bunnie addressed speculation that she was an embarrassment to Jelly Roll or bad for his public relations, arguing that these narratives are incomplete.
She pointed out that people often assume she moved on quickly, yet she had actually been mourning the end of her nearly ten-year marriage for at least a year, experiencing intense emotional turmoil including moments where she was screaming on the floor and so devastated she could not stand. On his part, Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, confirmed the divorce filing on June 15 after an argument on Mother's Day, initiated when Bunnie told him to file the papers.
