The Vodacom Bulls announced the signing of Sbu Nkosi from the Sharks on Thursday and may still be able to partner the Springbok wing with Madosh Tambwe.
In the process of moving to French Top 14 club Bordeaux, Tambwe has reportedly hit a stumbling block that could result in the Bulls finisher remaining at Loftus Versfeld. Tambwe signed for Bordeaux back in March, but his move to France has hit a snag due to visa problems., the DRC-born player’s application for a work visa has been rejected by the French government, but Bordeaux are working hard behind the scenes to resolve the issue.
After the Bulls beat Griquas in the Currie Cup, director of rugby Jake White suggested, tongue in cheek, that Tambwe may yet stay in Pretoria.
