Bulacan's Alethea Ambrosio was crowned as the new queen during the coronation night of The Miss Philippines 2023 in Pasay City Tuesday evening.Amelinckx won first runner-up in the Miss Supranational international competition, and placed second to Michelle Dee in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant this year.The other finalists are Isabelle de los Santos , Chantal Elise Legaspi Schmidt , and Blessa Ericha Figueroa .
The contestants were asked:"What is the true identity of a Filipino and how do you intend to promote it to the world?"She said Filipino identity can be reflected from our national language , skin color , and love for country. The pageant had 21 contestants vying for the title.
