KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman is ready to assist the Health Ministry in relation to the Covid-19 outbreak, says Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador.
The Inspector-General of Police said their personnel had been assigned to ensure the safety of quarantine centres, as well as tracking down infected patients.While duty comes first, the IGP said health and safety of their personnel were a priority.
“We will follow the advice and guidelines by the health authorities. Our frontliners have always maintain good hygiene and they are also subjected to regular health screenings, ” he added.On his health, the country’s top cop said he was fine and had no sleepless nights.
