To build organisational resilience, rganisations need to create the right culture, says Leif Kremkow, ServiceNow.
Optimising for organisational resilience can require a massive shift, with changes across people, processes and technology.
In order to build organisational resilience, he said: “Organisations need to create the right culture, choose an adaptable and agile technology, and implement thoughtful processes.” He said it was important to have executive sponsorship and a C-suite that valued feedback. Something as simple as employees feeling empowered to raise an alert about a health and safety violation, and see it acted on, supported a risk-aware culture and broader resilience, he said.
On the technology stack supporting organisational resilience, Kremkow said: “Don’t confuse a solution with an outcome. The outcome you want is organisational resilience, but some infrastructure layers and solutions are better suited to support this than others.”
