The board has formed a committee, led by chairman Paul Levy, to search for a new CEO.
Dallas-based Builders FirstSource, Inc. has appointed Dave Rush to serve as interim CEO following the announcement that Dave Flitman would be stepping down from the position, the company stated. Flitman will also be stepping down as president and member of the board."It has been an honor to work with our great team, stakeholders and board of directors," Flitman said in a news release.
Rush has been with Builders FirstSource since 1999. Prior to his appointment, he served as the executive VP of strategic management. "With deep operational, financial and business development capabilities, we are confident in Dave's ability to lead Builders FirstSource as interim CEO," Levy said in a news release."The board looks forward to supporting Dave and the leadership team in facilitating a smooth transition and continuing to deliver compounding shareholder value."
Builders FirstSource was founded in 1998. The company supplies building products for residential construction, repair and remodeling.. The firm is adding Trussway's integrated network of six manufacturing facilities across the U.S.
