Hot BBQ sauce will return to the menu along with a new Bulleit Bourbon BBQ sauce.
It was removed from the menu in 2020 and, the restaurant said, “fans have been pleading passionately for its return since ...”Buffalo Wild Wings also has spiked a new sauce, the smoky-sweet Bulleit Bourbon BBQ in collaboration with Bulleit Bourbon.
According to Buffalo Wild Wings, fans have used online petitions, social media posts and Twitter groups “demanding” the return of Hot BBQ.The new Bulleit Bourbon BBQ sauce will allow fans to “not only drink their bourbon but eat it, too.” The sauce can be eaten on wings, sandwiches and wraps. “We are always listening to our fans and the passion for Hot BBQ has been overwhelming. We know there will be a lot of excited people out there to see this one back on the menu this fall,” said Tristan Meline, chief marketing officer at Buffalo Wild Wings.
“We’re also thrilled to introduce Bulleit Bourbon BBQ, bringing a sweet, smoky tang to our stacked lineup of sauces and seasonings. So whether you’re all about the Hot BBQ return or eager to try something new, our limited-only only sauces have you covered this football season.”
