Hamlin posted a five-minute video on Instagram expressing his gratitude for everyone's support as well as how he is processing the aftermath of his cardiac arrest.

“Now that my brothers have closed out a strong winning season, and I continue to make so much progress recovering, I think it’s finally a good time to share a few things,” Hamlin began the video saying.

“I can’t tell you how appreciative of all the love, all the support and everything that’s just been coming my way.” Hamlin thanked the Bills medical and training staff, the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the Buffalo General Hospital staff, his mother and father, his little brother, his family and friends, Bills fans, the Bills organization, the city of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Bengals, the entire NFL, the children who sent him letters.
