Sales dropped by 23.6 percent, totaling a $22,539,581 loss. Other beer brands owned by the company also saw a decrease in sales, but not nearly as high as Bud Light. Budweiser dropped 9.7 percent, losing $3,510,184; Michelob Ultra dropped 2.

9 percent, losing $1,882,486; and Natural Light dropped 2.5 percent, losing $473,845.But of all the beer markets across the country, Houston is one of three that have maintained positive numbers and minimal loss. “There are only three markets that are showing positive trends of Bud Light across the entire U.S.: Des Moines, Iowa; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Houston,” said Bump Williams, 68, owner of Connecticut-based Bump Williams Consulting, who work with the beverage alcohol industry. “There’s only three markets across the country that show positive change and Houston has one of the strongest trends for Bud Light.” Williams said in Houston, two distributors have been the strongest factors for this: Silver Eagle Distributors and Del Papa Distributing Companies. Don’t do it, be forgiving.”Kali Whitmore, 26, bartender and assistant manager at West Alabama Ice House said sales in recent months have not changed despite the ongoing boycott. “We order the same amount every week. People that drank Bud Light before are still drinking it now,” Whitmore said. “We haven’t really seen a decrease.”She said they do not expect things to change anytime soon and she has not seen patrons turn away from the beverage. “I think it’s a very small amount of people who actually care enough to make that change,” she said. “And those people I guess are not our customers here.”, calling for an investigation of Bud Light and accusing them of marketing to underage consumers through the advertisement.
