SAD: Prince Alemayehu was deeply unhappy in Britain
Prince Alemayehu, was captured and brought to the United kingdom as a seven-year-old in 1868, and died when he was 18. Now, according to statement sent to the BBC, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has also said that removing Prince Alemayehu’s remains could affect others buried in the catacombs of St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
“The Emperor, Haile Selassie I, had a very strong relationship with the Queen, Britain and the monarchy – he was loved here.
