Garfield Heights sophomore guard Marcus Johnson announced his commitment to Ohio State University.
The five-star sophomore guard out of Garfield Heights High School announced his commitment to Ohio State .“I’ve loved Ohio State since I was a kid,” Johnson said. “Growing up I always wanted to be a Buckeye. I always told my parents I wanted to go to Ohio State .”
Johnson is the No. 1 player in the state of Ohio, and is ranked No. 24 nationally in the class of 2026. In his sophomore season, Johnson helped lead Garfield Heights to a 25-2 record including an appearance in the Division 1 State Quarterfinals.
