Warner Bros. Discovery has settled its lawsuit against the NBA, securing a partnership with the league for eleven years. The agreement grants Warner Bros. Discovery the rights to produce NBA content domestically and in parts of Europe and Latin America.
JON JOHNSON It may not have been Disney World, but a trip to the mega convenience store chain Buc-ee’s was cause for celebration for the Troy football team following its 28-20 road win over Georgia Southern on Saturday.
“So I told the players, Buc-ee’s was on me if we get this job done. So that’s how it all came full circle and became a little bit of a motivation for our guys, who appreciated a soft drink and a bite to eat.”“I’ll keep it between me and the wife,” Parker said with a chuckle.
“The tough part of growth is there’s only one way to grow, and that’s by doing things and learning in the fire,” Parker said. “We’ve been in it together as a team and he’s been in it in a position that gets the most at times, right? Great maturation process for him in learning who he is even more as a young man and player.
“For Powe to be the one to do that I think is a full circle moment for himself and his teammates,” Parker said. “He’s always one of our greatest practice players – he’s committed; he’s humble. He doesn’t say a lot, but when he does, he does it in a way that shows great leadership qualities. “I think I said this last week, but there’s no better measuring stick for us as a program, because we want to be at the top of our league, and that’s the expectations,” Parker said.
“There is confirmation the starter was injured, so we will see the back-up who came in the game this week,” Parker said. “There, of course, are definitely differences in the two players … I wouldn’t say vastly different.
