Authorities in Fayette County discovered Buc-ee's toy beavers stuffed with drugs in a car driven by a San Antonio man. A deputy found the plushies on the back seat of the car during a traffic stop at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, according to a social media post by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
During the search, the deputy came across the stuffed beavers, which appeared to have been re-stitched with packages inside. Further inspection revealed that the plushies contained bags of marijuana and ecstasy, the sheriff's office said. The marijuana alone weighed two pounds. The driver, identified as 47-year-old Lugene Davis Jr. of San Antonio, said he was having chest pain after the drugs were found, and he was taken to a nearby hospital.
