HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The excitement is mounting in Huber Heights as Buc-ee’s held an official groundbreaking on Thursday.
"This is the new prototype design that we just recently started building, so this is one of the largest, and we’ve only built a few, but we just felt like this location there was enough land here. We think there’s a business opportunity here for the 74,000-foot store," said Aplin."This is our first but I certainly hope it’s not our last," said Aplin.
Aplin said Buc-ee's has evolved over 42 years, and he is excited about the economic impact the stores bring to areas. He expects there to be more than 200 full-time positions available. He spoke about what it was like working with the city of Huber Heights.
