BTS Becomes 1st Artist To Win American Music Award For Favorite Pop Duo/Group 4 Times AMAs
On November 20 local time, the American Music Awards announced some of this year’s winners ahead of its live ceremony later that evening.in a row, BTS won the award for Favorite Pop Duo or Group—making them the first artist in AMA history to win the award four different times.
Before this year, the previous record for most Favorite Pop Duo or Group wins was a five-way tie between BTS, Aerosmith, The Black Eyed Peas, Hall & Oates, and One Direction, all of whom had won the award three times each.
