BTOB's YookSungjae Dreams Of Living LeeJongWon's Life In New Fantasy Drama

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Golden Spoon” is a new drama about a student born into a poor family who uses a magical golden spoon to swap fates with a friend born into a wealthy family. BTOB’s Yook Sungjae will be starring as Lee Seung Chun, the student who hopes to turn his life around with the titular golden spoon.

From looks to intelligence, Lee Seung Chun seems to have been blessed with everything but money. On the other hand, his wealthy friend Hwang Tae Yong has enjoyed every privilege growing up—but he is miserable nonetheless due to the constant pressure he faces from his demanding father. When these two students become entangled at school, they unexpectedly wind up swapping places and leading one another’s polar-opposite lives.

In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Lee Seung Chun and Hwang Tae Yong sport contrasting looks when they aren’t wearing their matching school uniforms. Hwang Tae Yong gives off a preppy vibe with his polo shirt and cardigan, while Lee Seung Chun is dressed more casually in a checkered shirt and tee.

To find out how these two very different students wind up enmeshed in each other’s lives, tune in to the premiere of “Golden Spoon” on September 23 at 9:50 p.m. KST!
