BT Furnishings is going out of business and closing its stores in Dallas, Arlington, Garland and Plano. The company has been in business for 35 years, promoting its showrooms as an affordable place to shop for brands such as Ashley Furniture, Leather Italia, Steve Silver and Wellspring Mattresses.The retailer’s newest store opened in Arlington in 2021 and, at 35,000 square feet, was smaller than its other stores. BT Furnishings couldn’t be reached for additional comment.
