The U.S. Open winner is in discussions to become the first reigning major champ to tee it up in India, in an International Series event alongside his three LIV Golf teammates.
the 31-year-old plans to play a new tournament in New Delhi, India, which would make DeChambeau the first reigning major champion to play in a professional golf event in India.
DeChambeau, who won the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 in June for his second major title, told the outlet he's excited to join his LIV Crushers teammate Anirban Lahiri, a native of India. The Crushers's other two members, Paul Casey and Charles Howell III, are also expected to compete in the tournament.
