Both directions of Interstate 5 near State Route 12 in Thurston County have been shut down due to a brush fire, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Washington State Department of Transportation tweeted that there is no estimated time on when the fire will be cleared.Initially, drivers were asked to avoid the area if possible and to expect delays.
