JUST IN: Brush fire in Poway causes limited evacuations, San Diego sheriff says
POWAY, Calif. — A brush fire was contained to about four acres in Poway Sunday, at one point causing evacuations in the industrial park of Brookprinter Place.
Firefighting helicopters dropped water on the blaze and were eventually released. CalFire San Diego units assisted Poway firefighters with the effort. The watch commander tweeted about the fire around 2:25 p.m., saying the evacuations are happening in the business park of Brookprinter Place.
