A brush fire in Edison has affected NJ Transit and Amtrak Northeast Corridor service just before the evening commute, officials said.
Amtrak service was on a hold, said Jason Abrams, a railroad spokesman. As of 5:26 p.m., Amtrak rail service between Philadelphia and New York was temporarily suspended.
