Brush fire burns five acres in Rancho San Diego [Breaking]
A 10-acre brush fire broke out Wednesday near a neighborhood in Rancho San Diego, according to Cal Fire officials.
The blaze, dubbed Willow 9, was reported at about 7:30 p.m. near Steele Canyon and Willow Glen roads, said Cal Fire Captain Neil CzapinskiFirefighters, bulldozers and aircraft had been called in to assist in knocking down the flames, according to officials. The fire started in an area with low humidity with peak winds at 20 mph or less, the National Weather Service tweeted.
