BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Pengiran Redzaini Pengiran Ahmad has set a record as the first person to complete a solo motorcycle ride from tip to tip across Borneo, in less than 24 hours.
He returned to a hero’s welcome on Tuesday at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital, where Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal Pengiran Mahmud presented him with a badge to mark the completion of Saddle Sore 2020.
Redzaini said, “Alhamdulillah, the weather was on my side, and I managed to complete the journey without any serious issues. I thank all those who prayed for my safe return. This has been my toughest endurance solo ride attempt so far, and I am blessed to have so much support.”
