THE Ministry of Health has advised people attended a four-day outreach or tabligh gathering at the Seri Petaling mosque, Selangor, in February to get tested for Covid-19 after a Brunei citizen who was present contracted the virus. Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Malaysian authorities were informed by Brunei counterparts about a Covid-19 infection in the kingdom after the person’s travel history indicated a trip to the mosque to attend the gathering.
