The actor, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023, is a girl dad. He shares three daughters with Moore and two more with Heming.
In April 2012, Bruce and Heming’s first child arrived, a baby girl named Mabel who was born in Los Angeles and raised in New York.
The Emmy winner told Everything Zoomer the following year that he was “changing diapers like a champ” and loving his second round of fatherhood later in life. “I still have a lot of energy left, so I can get up early in the morning and take care of her for a while and let Emma relax,” he explained, calling himself “happier than … ever.”Mabel became a big sister in May 2014 when sister Evelyn was born.
In addition to sharing photos of Evelyn via Instagram over the years, from bike rides to rollercoasters, Heming shared a sweet story about the little one researching “facts about dementia” to help her dad. Heming told her daughter, “That is the most loving and compassionate thing that you can do is to be curious and educate yourself on your dad’s disease.”
