Howard played a total of five minutes and finished with one assist in the Tigers 53-51 victory over the Volunteers.
Tennesse hit its first 3-pointer in the second half tying up the score 38-38 on a failed closeout from Howard. According to Auburn On3, Pearl was not happy with Howard’s defensive effort resulting to his exit. After halftime, Howard was spotted not shooting with the team and standing outside of the huddle before the start of the second half.
