Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski on Monday said he was hopeful that the ongoing saga between the team and quarterback Baker Mayfield could resolve soon.

This month, Mayfield thanked Cleveland fans in a message on social media, and his guaranteed full base salary of 18.858 million in 2022, is likely impacting trade efforts. "We've got to see how it plays out," the coach said."I think of all of us would love an answer yesterday, but that's not the reality of it." Stefanski said he expects Watson — who still faces 22 civil lawsuits over sexual assault allegations — to participate fully in the Browns' offseason program beginning April 18.
