SAN DIEGO - The Brown Field Municipal Airport Redevelopment project will break ground Monday for the largest general aviation airport redevelopment project on the West Coast, city officials said.

There will be a news conference and groundbreaking ceremony Monday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Brown Field Municipal Airport, 1424 Continental St. The project will also add industrial and commercial facilities within the 331-acre airport site near the U.S.-Mexico Border.
