Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has given a hint on which players he will definitely pick for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in January next year.
Bafana will complete their schedule in the international break with another friendly, this time against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday evening and Broos suggested that he will revert back to his tried and tested team, as he starts preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the AFCON next year.
"But now players like [Mihlali] Mayambela, Percy Tau and others will be in the team . When you see a little bit of our last three games, two times Liberia, take the team of Morocco, I think we will more and more go with that team," he said. The Belgian went on and explained that he will not be making any more big changes in his squad from next month and expects to take the core of that team to the AFCON tournament.
