There is no way that I have ever been so connected — besides with a lover or a husband — than I was with Derek. And it’s every single day.”Brooke continued: “So for three months, you are in someone’s arms. Why do you think people fall in love? You smell them, you feel them, you’re breathing with them.
She continued: “What I would have liked would have been to have a very adult, respectful conversation that would have gone something like ‘we’re not going to renew your contract and we’re making some changes. We’re looking at some new people, and we just want to give you a heads up, and if you’d like to support that publicly, great?”Former “DWTS” hosts Brooke Burke and Tom Bergeron for the Spring 2010 season of “Dancing with the Stars.”Despite the drama, Burke was thankful for the experience.
