The NYPD is searching for the suspect who shot and killed a man at a Bronx bodega on Sunday.Police identified the victim as 29-year-old Stefon Barnes.Loved ones have left candles and messages in memory of the victim since the shooting.Police say the male suspect entered the Gourmet Deli on East Tremont Avenue in West Farms at around 4 a.m., walked up to another man, showed his gun, and tried to rob him.
Barnes was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.Those who shop at the store are both disgusted and shaken by the murder."It’s been nerve-racking because I was in the store when it was about to start, and I grabbed my stuff and I left. I grabbed my stuff and I left," said one shopper.
