Broncos head coach Sean Payton interviewed former NFL head coach Rex Ryan this week for the defensive coordinator opening in Denver. Ryan was a DC in the NFL for four seasons.

Payton was officially named as head coach of the Broncos in early February after taking a year off from coaching. following the 2021 season and worked for Fox as an NFL analyst.
