Parker joined The Denver Post in September 2022 after covering the Broncos for USA Today. Before that, he spent five years covering Nebraska football and athletics for the Lincoln Journal Star. He's a New Glarus, Wisconsin native and a University of Wisconsin graduate.
The Broncos moved their final full practice day inside to the tennis club on the grounds here due to winds, rain and lightning powered by Hurricane Helene.
“Other than today having to move into these tennis/pickleball courts, they kept the schedule pretty similar to what we would have had,” wide receiver Josh Reynolds said of the “The week’s the same,” Payton said. “The objective is, experts will tell you on sleep, avoiding the time zone change back and forth. That’s why we requested a couple of games back-to-back.”
