TxDOT is demolishing a sidewalk and building a narrower one outside the Credit Human building to restore a third traffic southbound lane on Broadway.
The Texas Department of Transportation will tear up part of the sidewalk outside the Credit Human headquarters to make room for a southbound traffic lane on Broadway — more fallout from the state’s 2022 decision to block the city of San Antonio from narrowing a section of the street.
” Silver Ventures had already made more than $2 million in improvements to the 1700 block of Broadway, eliminating one southbound traffic lane in front of its office complex that houses the Credit Human Federal Credit Union headquarters, which opened in 2021.
